This style of abstract expressionism is imagery. The colors I chose to use were light blue, green, red, and pink. I chose these colors because they are all bold and I wanted to experiment with many different colors. I made random shapes in the drawing so it would appear more fun and carefree. I used unity between the colors to make the piece look whole, as well as emphasis on the plant by using brighter colors. This art shows how life is random and made of many different odd pieces that are stitched together. I don't really like this piece of art because I prefer realism, and the bright colors and odd shapes don't appeal to me. This painting has odd shapes/colors all over it that don't quite make sense to me, so I am not too happy with it.
This style of expressionism is a mix of imagery and action painting. I chose green, blue, purple, and black to use. I used these colors because I enjoy the color scheme and wanted to see what it was like on abstract art. I used lines and shapes in this painting to have a mix of abstract art. I used variety and balance and unity for the colors that I chose. This are, similar to my first piece, shows how life is compromised of many random and different features that come together to be whole. I don't like this painting because it does not seem to make much sense and it is very random with little details, and I prefer detail oriented paintings where you can see all of the time that went into the painting.
